THE TEXTILE COLLECTION consists of a series of linen and cotton cushions, blankets, and tablecloths. All textiles are individually hand printed by Noortje. The technique of printing each figure separately creates a unique pattern, which makes every textile piece a unique product.
Using this printing technique gives Noortje the opportunity to stay close to the material and experience its touch. She feels textile plays an important role in our home. Textiles bring personality, softness and comfort. Yet cheap and identical textile products seem to be available everywhere. Awareness for the human craftsmanship needed to create a textile product seems to have disappeared. Noortje wanted to make textile products that feel personal, unique and close to her again. The printing technique she uses means no more standardized products, but products with their own ‘fingerprint’.
All production is kept close to home. Noortje hopes her designs make you experience the unique value of products made with attention and love. All textile is made with non toxic inks. Prewashed and ready to be used by you!
You can never have too many cushions! These cushions are available in two sizes ~50×50 cm and ~65×40 cm and include a duck-feather filling. Noortje uses 100% unbleached cotton or 100% linen fabric for producing the cushions. Every cushion has a blind zipper and can be machine washed cold with like colors on 40°. Tumble dry on low heat or hang out to dry. Ironing possible on recommended iron program for cotton/ linen. Be aware print or color might fade when washed often.
Dress up your table with these unique tablecloths! The tablecloths are available in two sizes. ~240×135 cm and ~280×135 cm. Noortje uses 100% linen fabric producing the tablecloths. The green tablecloth is made of a high quality stonewashed linen. Take into account that the tablecloths won’t shrink when washed for the first time where most tablecloths do! Every tablecloth can be machine washed cold with like colors on 40°. Tumble dry on low heat or hang out to dry. Ironing possible on recommended iron program for linen. Be aware print or color might fade when washed often.
Get cozy on your couch or in bed under this handmade soft stitched blanket! A blanket is ~170×140 cm and made of 100% soft cotton. Every blanket can be machine washed cold with like colors on 20°. Hang out to dry. Do not iron. Be aware print or color might fade when washed often. Blankets are made in limited editions.
